Pediatric tubes minimum of 250 mcl. Test includes WBC, RBC, Hemoglobin, Hematocrit, MCV, MCH, MCHC, RDW, Platelet count, IPF, and differential (absolute and Percent Neutrophils, Lymphocytes, Monocytes, Eosinophils, and Basophils. A manual differential will be performed if the automated differential meets criteria.
Clinical Significance
A complete blood count is used as a screening test for various disease states including anemia, leukemia and inflammatory processes.
