Testing includes, ABO/Rh and DC on cord blood. Testing is required on all Rh Negative mother’s babies as well as all O Mothers. If no cord blood is collected, order ABO/Rh and DC, not cord blood evaluation. If the DC is positive, an elution will be performed to identify the antibody.
